Ep 11. God Willing and the Creek Don't Rise

In "Weeds" Season 8 Episode 11 - "God Willing and the Creek Don't Rise," Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) is tasked with a new job when she attempts to smuggle illegal drugs to a customer. Meanwhile, Shane (Alexander Gould) begins to worry about his safety once he realizes he's been followed by someone with a gun, and Silas (Hunter Parrish) considers leaving the marijuana business behind.

As Nancy prepares for her new smuggling operation, she reunites with an old acquaintance, Conrad (Romany Malco), who offers to help her transport the drugs. However, when the deal goes south and the two are left stranded in the woods with the drugs, they soon realize that they're not alone and must fight to survive.

Meanwhile, Shane becomes increasingly paranoid as he continues to be followed by a mysterious man who seems to know his every move. Despite his mother's attempts to calm him down, Shane finds himself in a dangerous situation when the man confronts him with a gun.

Elsewhere, Silas considers leaving the marijuana business behind after being confronted by an old friend, R.J. (Ricardo Chavira), who offers him a job at a medical marijuana business with less risk involved. However, Silas must weigh his options and decide if he's ready to leave the only life he's ever known.

As the episode comes to a close, Nancy and Conrad are able to escape the woods with the drugs intact, but their future remains uncertain. Meanwhile, Shane learns the truth about the man who's been following him, and Silas must make a life-changing decision about his future in the marijuana business. "God Willing and the Creek Don't Rise" explores the characters' struggles to survive and adapt to the ever-changing nature of the drug trade.
