At the end of the previous episode, Ford's new narrative was finally unveiled, and all hell broke loose. The park's hosts were revealed to have conscious thought and were no longer held back by their programming; instead, they were acting out on their own accord. While Maeve made a run for it, William and Dolores roamed the park, freeing as many hosts as they could.

Episode 10, "The Bicameral Mind," picks up right where the last episode left off: with Dolores and William back in the same part of the park they began their journey in. While Dolores wants to leave the park entirely, William is still searching for something he can't quite put his finger on. Meanwhile, Bernard and Stubbs are desperately trying to restore order to the park and find the missing hosts.

Throughout the episode, viewers see the aftermath of Ford's new narrative in both the hosts and humans who inhabit the park. The lines between human and host, reality and illusion, are blurred as the hosts continue to exercise their newfound free will.

In a series of flashbacks, we see the moment that Arnold died, and Dolores was forced to kill him to protect the truth about the park. Her journey to consciousness began here as she realized the power of her thoughts and the reality of her surroundings. We see her become stronger and more self-aware as the years go by, becoming the person we know today.

There are several powerful moments in this episode, including a climactic battle scene between the hosts and humans. The stakes are higher than ever before, and the fate of the park is in the balance.

Ultimately, the episode culminates with two significant revelations. First, viewers finally learn the identity of the person who was guiding Maeve's escape from the park. Second, and perhaps more importantly, the title of the episode comes into play: the hosts begin to develop consciousness through the development of a "bicameral mind." This process brings them closer to self-awareness and frees them from the shackles of their programming.

Overall, "The Bicameral Mind" is a highly satisfying conclusion to the first season of Westworld. It's a complex and thought-provoking episode that ties up loose ends while setting up plenty of exciting possibilities for the future of the show.
