In the eighth episode of season one of Witches of East End, entitled "Snake Eyes," the Beauchamp clan faces new threats and revelations as they struggle to uncover their past and save their future.

As the episode begins, Ingrid is tormented by visions of a serpent, and fears that it may hold a connection to the snake tattoo that appeared on her back in the previous episode. Meanwhile, Wendy discovers that the cursed Mandragora plant is growing on the grounds of Fair Haven, the estate owned by her former love interest, Frederick. In an effort to protect the town, Wendy and Joanna set out to destroy the plant, only to be met with unexpected resistance.

While the sisters deal with these magical problems, they also face family drama as tensions between them continue to rise. Ingrid struggles with her feelings for detective Matt Noble, and worries about his safety as she becomes increasingly aware of the dangers facing their family. Freya, still torn between her fiancé Dash and her former love, Killian, struggles to keep her romantic life under control while also dealing with visions of her imminent death.

This episode also sees the return of the mysterious, shape-shifting creature known as the shifter, who has been causing chaos in the town for some time. As the Beauchamps race to stop the shifter's plans, they also come to realize that he may not be acting alone, and that they may have another enemy to face.

As the tension mounts and the stakes become higher, the Beauchamps will need all of their magical abilities and family bonds to overcome their challenges and protect themselves and the town from danger. With plenty of twists and turns, "Snake Eyes" is a thrilling and suspenseful episode that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.
