Ep 1. Cherry Blossoms Bloom

In the bustling town of Sakurashin, humans and youkai (supernatural beings) live together in harmony. The story revolves around the main quartet of heroes - the mayor's daughter Hime Yarizakura, the demon-slaying priest Akina Hiizumi, the half-youkai guardian Kotoha Isone, and the telekinetic Hime's sister, Ao Nanami.

In the first episode titled "Cherry Blossoms Bloom," the town is getting ready for the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. As Hime and Akina walk around town, they hear about some disturbances happening around the city. Akina suspects that a rogue youkai might be responsible.

Meanwhile, Kotoha is helping out at her family's bookstore, where Ao is also present, still trying to persuade Kotoha to help her fly like her sister. A sudden gust of wind blows away a book, and Ao uses her telekinesis to get it back. Kotoha is amazed by Ao's abilities and creates a book barrier to protect her from any harm.

Later, the mayor calls for a meeting to discuss the recent disturbances. Hime, Akina, and Kotoha attend the meeting, where they learn that a group of youkai, led by a powerful being, is responsible for the chaos. The group's ultimate goal is to make the Cherry Blossom Festival a symbol of human oppression and youkai rage, leading to a full-scale war.

Hime, Akina, and Kotoha decide to investigate the situation and ask Ao to come with them. As they make their way towards the source of the disturbances, they find themselves surrounded by the enemy's minions. Hime summons her massive sword and unleashes her power, destroying the minions in one fell swoop.

The group soon discovers the leader of the rogue youkai group, a powerful entity known as Enjin Hiizumi - Akina's own brother. Enjin has his eyes set on the Sakura Tree, an ancient and powerful being that has protected the town for generations. He plans to use the Sakura Tree's immense power to unleash a war between humans and youkai.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Enjin launches an attack on Hime and the others, leaving their fates uncertain.
