Billy and Bates' long-time acquaintance, Joey Kincaid, is released from prison and asks to join their zombie squad. Billy reluctantly agrees, and the three of them make a plan to buy from the gun dealers John met recently. Unfortunately, the dealers turn out to be a local militia group and things go bad quickly, and now the three have to survive both the living and the undead.

A few weeks have passed and now the Zombie Hunters are running low on weapons and ammunition. John sets out to make a deal with local underworld gun dealers, while Bates turns to a disgraced postal carrier for his stash of weapons. Meanwhile, the living dead problem continues to escalate, and finds its way into St. John's Hospital, where undead chaos is about to break loose.

Two days after the events in Episode One, Billy and Bates are back on patrol, trying to avoid the authorities while keeping their neighborhood safe. During an encounter with a woman near a local park, who has lost her daughter. The Zombie Hunters team up to investigate the park, find the girl and clear it of the hungry undead waiting in the shadows.
