20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is a family oriented science fiction drama dealing with a military ship sent to investigate various mysterious events occurring in distant parts of the ocean. While investigating the mysterious events and rumors surrounding the ship disappearances the heroes encounter an amazing submarine filled with fantastic explorers and confront wild rumors of strange sea creatures stalking ships and men.

The heroes must investigate cannibal infested islands, battle strange sea creatures and descend deep into the depths to uncover the bizarre but wondrous beings that thrive there.

The film is based on the Jules Verne book.
