3:10 to Yuma

"Time waits for one man."

The movie 3:10 to Yuma opens with Dan Evans noticing that two men set his barn on fire that works for Glen Hollander. Dan owes money to Glen. The following morning, while Dan and his two sons where tending to their herd, they saw Ben Wade looting a stagecoach. Ben saw them and took their horses, stating they can find the horse tied up to a tree on a road to Bisbee.

Dan finally meets with the railroad guards and telling them that Ben was most likely heading for Bisbee. Dan also found out Glen’s true plan regarding his land. Dan heads to Bisbee to confront Glen. Instead he finds Ben in the saloon where he distracts him. Ben is caught after that.

Grayson Butterfield, the owner of the looted stagecoach, employs several men to escort Ben to Yuma for sentencing. Dan was also enlisted for a price of $200. Dan orchestrates a diversion to put Ben’s gang off trail while they head for Contention so can Ben get to a 3:10 train going to for Yuma.

Dan’s crew set a course that goes through the canyons. While at the canyons, Indians suddenly attack them. After the shooting was over, Dan survives but Ben escapes. They eventually catch Ben in a nearby mining operation.

Ben’s gang finds and ambushes the decoy wagon. They learn Ben was taken to Contention. They start tracking and finding Ben. After a series of different close calls and shootings, the final scene is in the train station where Ben turns against his gang. Ben tells Dan that he will submit himself to the train so he can collect his $200 reward. He also tells Dan that it is not his first time to be delivered to Yuma and that he escaped there before. Ben’s whole gang was killed after the whole train incident. Dan returns home and pays off his debt.
