On a United States naval base in Cuba, a group of marines go into the barracks and murder another one. It is presumed that the top commanding officer ordered the murder of a marine. The murder order was known as a code red and led to his eventual prosecution. It is believed that the murder was ordered due to the one marine's inadequate performance as a soldier. So on the base in Cuba two other marines murder him. Once this happens a young Navy lawyer is asked to help lead the prosecution. At first, he doesn't take the case seriously. However, over time he works with the other prosecutors tirelessly to help come up with evidence against the murderers. They go over a number of facts and eventually believe that the commanding officer stationed there ordered the killing. Over the course of the murder trial, the lawyers bring in a number or witnesses including the two marines that committed the murder. During the legal proceedings, the facts are gone over as well as getting witness testimony. The court sessions are very heated and intense. After a number of court sessions, the jury determines that the commander is guilty of ordering the murder and he is then sentenced to prison.
