Watch A Good Woman

The movie begins in New York City, where Mrs. Erlynne is well known for her ability to seduce the prominent wealthy married men. She is no longer welcomed in this prominent circle because of all the damage she has done. She decides to sell her jewelry and possessions and buy a ticket to Italy. When she arrives in Italy she sees an interesting prospect in Robert Windemere, a wealthy newlywed. The gossip starts; the neighbors tell his wife they are having an affair. Meg doesn't believe them until she sees a checkbook with checks made out to her. Meg doesn't know this is her mother; she is extorting money from Robert to keep quiet.

Meg attends a prominent function, and both women are wearing the same dress. Lord Augustus asks Erlynne to marry him. Lord Darling asks Meg to leave her husband, and marry him, and she agrees.
