All of Me

"They say that behind every great man there's a woman. But in this case it's ridiculous."

This comedy with a supernatural twist starring two of the biggest comedians of the 1980s. Roger Cobb (Steve Martin) is a Los Angeles attorney who is hired by a rich and eccentric woman named Edwina Cutwater (Lily Tomlin) to modify her will. Edwina is on her deathbed after a lifetime of illness, and she's hired a holy man who has promised he can transfer her consciousness to someone else's body. Specifically the body of a lovely young woman named Terry Hoskins (Victoria Tennant) which will allow Edwina to finally experience the youth and vitality she never had originally. Roger naturally thinks she is completely insane at first, but soon enough he becomes a believer when a mix up with the soul transfer deposits Edwina's soul inside his own body instead. The two now have to find a way to share their single body, each one of them controlling one half of it. And more importantly they need to figure out together how to find the holy man and make him undo the transfer. Directed by Carl Reiner based on a novel by Edwin Davis.
