Watch Babe: Pig in the City

"This little pig went to the city..."

Babe: Pig in the City was brought to the big screen in 1998 after the first movie of its kind was a huge box office hit. This sequal still centers around Babe, a little pig that has a one track mind about herding sheep, and picks up where the first movie left him as winner of the sheep herding contest. Farmer Arthur Hoggett, voice is played by James Cromwell, refuses to cash in on his prize winning pig Babe and returns to the farm with him. Once back at the farm Farmer Hoggett has an accident, which was caused by Babe, and is unable to keep up with his farm work. His wife, Esme, tries to keep up the farm while her husband heals, but is unable to do so. This is when two individuals that work for the bank make an appearance on the farm and complain about the Hoggett's rent, which has not been paid. An offer arises that would put Babe back into sheep herding, and may just save the farm from being taken by the banks. Esme rushes in to inform her husband of the competition, and that her and Babe would set on their way to the city to enter it. The competition has included a hotel stay for the farmers wife and the prize winning pig, although the hotel establishment is not all too fond of the livestock staying the night. This is not the only livestock that the hotel staff will encounter while Babe stays as a guest. One night he takes a group of his friends back to the room, and they end up creating a little chaos while visiting. This chaos provides for a good amount of grief for the entire staff, as well as for the other guests.
