Back to the Future

"He's the only kid ever to get into trouble before he was born."

Back to the Future bridges the gap between science fiction and humor with the tale of Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Fox. A mid-eighties teenager befriends a seemingly-mad scientist as his closest friend, played by Christopher Lloyd. His plans of a weekend escape with his girlfriend Jennifer become foiled and young McFly has to deal with the loss of his attempts at a stay over with his mate. It isn't until McFly's friend Doc Brown enlists his assistance in filming his greatest contribution to mankind that he finds himself to be over his head.

Doc Brown has stolen plutonium for his time traveling device, and they have come for payback. Having to elude the attackers, McFly jumps into the time traveling Delorean and ends up in 1955. Now he is left alone in hopes of finding his friend and letting him know of his fate. While in search, Marty stumbles upon his father at a younger age, who is victim to the bullying of Biff's father. His paths cross with his mother as well when he falls from a tree while trying to assist his father in the attempts of wooing her. His mother falls in love with Marty, which creates a lapse in the time spectrum, causing the possibility of fate for Marty before he is even able to be born.

Marty McFly must convince the Doc to help him return to 1985 so that his existence does not disturb the system any more than it has, but where does one find enough power to drive the time machine? Only Marty knows when enough power will be generated, and his alliance with the Doc proves to be one that spans the test of time. Back to the Future is full of adventure and humor from start to finish, whether it is in the 1980's, 1950's, or even the future.
