Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman is an animated superhero film directed by Curt Geda and released in 2003. The movie features the iconic character of Batman, voiced by Kevin Conroy, who must solve the mystery of a new vigilante in Gotham City known as the Batwoman. The movie also stars Kimberly Brooks, Kelly Ripa and Elisa Gabrielli.

The movie opens with a group of gangsters in Gotham City being attacked by a mysterious figure dressed in black, who easily overpowers them and disappears into the night. The Police are baffled by this new player in the city's crime scene, and even Batman is unable to identify her. Meanwhile, a group of industrialists with connections to the underworld and who control the city's waterfront are planning a major arms deal with a group of terrorists, which places Gotham City in great danger.

Batman is on the case, but he also has to deal with Bruce Wayne's personal affairs. He is slated to participate in a charity auction for the benefit of young women who have suffered losses in their lives. A new figure appears in his life, the breathtakingly beautiful Kathy Duquesne (Kimberly Brooks), who claims to be the daughter of Carlton Duquesne, one of the industrialists involved in the arms deal that threatens Gotham City. Bruce is immediately attracted to her, but he soon realizes that she has a hidden agenda.

As Batman gets closer to identifying the Batwoman's true identity, he discovers that she is not only a skilled fighter but also has an arsenal of high-tech weaponry, and she is not afraid to use it. She is also aided by a trio of streetwise women, who help her in her mission to clean up the City's streets. While her methods are brutal and uncompromising, they are also effective. Batman is impressed but also wary of the new player and sets out to discover her motivations.

As the movie progresses, we get hints that the Batwoman's true identity is linked to a past encounter that Batman had with a criminal named Dr. Roxanne Ballantine (Elisa Gabrielli), who was burned beyond recognition by a chemical explosion during a battle with the Dark Knight. Ballantine was presumed dead, but now it seems that she might have resurfaced as the Batwoman. Batman tries to get to the bottom of the mystery, but he is hampered by the fact that he is pursuing two parallel investigations at the same time, and he doesn't know which one is more important.

To complicate matters further, the Batwoman has her own agenda. She is also investigating the arms deal between the industrialists and the terrorists, who are planning to use the weapons to destroy a vital part of the city. She is determined to stop them at all costs, even if it means teaming up with Batman, who refuses to work with her until he knows her true identity.

The plot thickens as the movie reaches its climax, with plenty of action, suspense, and witty dialogue between the characters. The animation is fantastic, and the story is engaging. Overall, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman is an excellent addition to any Batman fan's collection, and it is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys action-packed superhero movies. The movie explores themes of trust, loyalty, and identity, and it will keep you guessing until the very end.

Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman is a 2003 adventure movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 15 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.7.
