Dead Presidents is a crime thriller film that focuses on the real life of Anthony Curtis. The story literally showcases his complete life as a teenager and how he literally grew up. The film also shows a lot about his life and how he dealt with the Vietnam War and what he did to overcome these events. When Anthony gets the chance to finally get home to the Bronx, he discovers the difficulty of not being able to support his family and actually having the money to live his life. He ends up living a complete life of crime. The film goes deep into his life and how he deals with killing and ordinary life instances. The story continues on and showcases how he ended up in jail and how he went the wrong road in the end.

Dead Presidents was released back in 1995 so the movie wasn't exactly able to deliver a quality film that movies nowadays can offer. The film isn't exactly the best since it was only given a rating of 45% out of a possible 100% from Rotten Tomatoes. The entire movie isn't able to deliver top of the line quality as the movies in today's generation can, but the plot of the movie and the deliverance of showcasing the life of Anthony is wonderful.
