Evil of Dracula is a 1974 Japanese horror film directed by Michio Yamamoto. The movie stars Toshio Kurosawa, Mariko Mochizuki, and Kunie Tanaka. The story is based on the traditional legend of Dracula, but with some modern twists. The protagonist is Professor Shiraki, a teacher at a somewhat sinister high school. He is invited to the remote home of a colleague, Dr. Shimimura, who has recently passed away. However, when he arrives, he discovers that Dr. Shimimura was not the only inhabitant of the house. There is also a mysterious, beautiful woman named Keiko who seems to have some sort of strange power over the students at the high school.

Professor Shiraki becomes increasingly intrigued by Keiko and tries to unravel the mystery surrounding her. He discovers that she is actually a vampire, and that Dr. Shimimura was attempting to cure her of her vampirism. However, now that Dr. Shimimura is no longer alive, Keiko is free to do as she pleases.

As the movie progresses, it becomes clear that Keiko has her sights set on Professor Shiraki. She begins to exert her power over him, and he finds himself slowly becoming more and more obsessed with her. Meanwhile, the students at the high school begin to act more and more strangely, with some of them even turning into vampires themselves.

The tension builds steadily throughout the movie, with a few well-placed jump scares and some genuinely creepy moments. The cinematography is excellent, with lots of dark, shadowy shots that add to the overall atmosphere of unease. The score is also very effective, with a haunting piano melody that plays during some of the more tense scenes.

The acting is also quite good, especially from Toshio Kurosawa as Professor Shiraki. He does an excellent job of portraying his character's descent into madness and obsession. Mariko Mochizuki is also memorable as Keiko, with her striking looks and enigmatic presence.

Overall, Evil of Dracula is an effective horror movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It's not the scariest movie you'll ever see, but it's definitely worth checking out if you're a fan of classic horror films.

Evil of Dracula is a 2018 drama with a runtime of 1 hour and 22 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.3.
