Frost/Nixon

"400 million people were waiting for the truth."

This Ron Howard film depicts the 12 interviews David Frost had with former President Richard Nixon in 1977, almost three years after he resigned from office because of Water Gate. These interviews lasted for three weeks in the Monarch Bay, California home of longtime Nixon supporters, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith. These interviews were done on the basis of Nixon's memoirs that he had written during the two years he spent out of public eye. The first part of the interview was about Water Gate and the others were concerning the Viet Nam War, and other aspects of Nixon's life
