"Meet Doug, The Nicest Guy You'll Ever Fight."

This film is a comedy that recounts the story of Doug, an unappreciated member of the family due to his lack of a professional title. Doug and friend Pat go to a hockey game and what starts as Doug defending those insulted by the name calling of a hockey player becomes the beginning of his career as the enforcer. He is given the name of Doug "The Thug" and quickly earns the respect of those around him except for his idol, Ross "The Boss" Rhea. The film will take you through his journey as a new hockey player and the trouble that he faces along the way.

The film was released in Canada in February 2012 with a running time of 92 minutes. The film was first released on September 2011 at the Toronto Film Festival. It was directed by Michael Dowse starring Sean William Scott(Doug), Leiv Shreiber (Ross), Jay Baruchel (Pat), Marc-Andre Grondin (Xavier) and Alison Pill (Eva).
