Harry and Walter Go to New York is a 70's period comedy created by John Byrum, Robert Kaufman and Don Devlin. The film was directed by Mark Rydell (The Rose, The River) and stars, James Caan, Elliott Gould, Diane Keaton and Michael Caine. The plot of the film revolves around two unlucky con men with a ambitious goal, to commit the greatest heist the 19th Century has ever seen. However, they are met at every turn by the greatest bank robber in the world and a zealous newspaper worker.
