Watch Ice Age: Continental Drift

Ice Age: Continental Drift is a 3-D movie, computer-animated, that was made released on July 13, 2012. It is the fourth of the Ice Age group, and this release comes six years after the original. Manny, Diego, and Sid are all back together for another adventure in pre-historic times. Back when glaciers were overtaking the Earth, and it's inhabitants were trying to escape what was eventually the Ice Age, Manny and his gang were having hilarious adventures of their own.

In Ice Age: Continental Drift, Manny is a protective father when his teen-age daughter Peaches is headed out to see another teen-age mammoth. Sid finally reunites with his long-lost family, but ends up losing them again, only to be left with his annoying Grandmother. The gang gets separated with lands Manny on a iceberg with Diego and Sid, and Ellie, Peaches and other animals end up on a floating land mass.

Everyone survives a pretty brutal storm, and find Sid's Grandmother on the same iceberg as them. They come upon an ice ship, which houses a group of animal pirates. When Manny and his gang refuse to join the pirate crew, the pirates instead hold them hostage. Of course Manny and the gang escape, but the ship breaks in half.

The group finally reaches land and find a way home, but the animal pirates have had troubles of their own. The head of the pirates, Gutt, is ready to seek revenge on Manny and the gang for all the troubles they've encountered. Of course, the herd headed for home still have troubles, but when everyone arrives home to the land bridge, they find it destroyed. The pirates have kidnapped Peaches and Ellie and plan to kill them both, as revenge on Manny. Peaches, having opossum skills in her, saves Ellie. Manny and Gutt end up fighting, but Manny prevails in the end. He is reunited with his family, Diego gets a girlfriend and the animals need to find a another continent to call home.

As for Scratt, his adventures with his acorn causes the land on earth to break and form the seven continents and gets separated from his acorn. A skeleton on an island is pointing to an acorn buried deep in the bottom of the sea, and he finds a treasure map. More adventures in following this map still leaves Scratt separated from his acorn. One wonders if he'll ever give up.
