Into Thin Air: Death on Everest

"Into Thin Air: Death on Everest" (1997) is a made-for-TV movie based on the book "Into Thin Air" by Jon Krakrauer, which had been about the disaster on Mt. Everest in 1996. During said disaster, a blizzard blew up on May 10 and 11, while people were trying to reach the summit of Mt. Everest. There were large teams, small groups, and solo climbers high up on the mountain during the storm. The blizzard caused eight fatalities. Among them were Scott Fischer and Rob Hall.
