Watch Kinky Boots

The film entitled Kinky Boots is about the life and challenges of Charlie. The film starts with a young boy dancing on a platform as he waits for his father to join him. He finds a pair of red shoes which he wears and continues dancing as he waits for his father. When he spots his father approaching from a distance, he puts the shoes away and stops dancing not knowing his father had seen everything he was doing. At the same time that this little boy is dancing, somewhere else in a place where shoes are manufactured, a little boy is receiving information about their lineage as shoe manufacturers and the value of shoes.

The film then continues years after showing the young boy at the shoe factory now grown up and known as Charlie. After the death of his father he had inherited the shoe factory. He now works hard to save the business from crumbling. He then decides to relieve some of the workers off their duties so as to reduce the staff numbers. One of the workers known as Lauren advices Charlie to look for other ways to save the company.

Charlie leaves for London in search of ideas. While there, he meets Lola who has good ideas about the manufacture of shoes. Lola however makes Charlie understand that all boots are designed for women and there are no boots for men. Charlie is impressed and asks Lauren to come back to the factory and assist him rebuild it. They decide to manufacture boots for Lola to make him understand that boots are capable of supporting a man's weight.

Charlie then realizes they can make shoes for men who prefer wearing lady's shoes instead. However, Charlie's girlfriend shows up and advices him to sell the factory. Charlie ignores her idea and continues working.
