On a Clear Day You Can See Forever

"Look into my eyes."

Barbara Streisand in one of her many memorable preformances plays a chain smoker who seeks the aid of a hypnotist in order to quit smoking. During her stints under hypnosis, Ms. Streisand's character, Daisy Gamble, is transported into both past and future lives. In one of her dreams, Daisy transports to 18th century England as Melinda Wells who marries a philandering painter. Dr. Bruckner, the psychiatrist, during the states of hypnotism falls in love with Melinda. While Ms. Streisand shows some skin, the movie doesn't contain any nudity to speak of, profanity and/or graphic violence. It must be stated though, the film brings forth the perception of believing in reincarnation. However, it is not strident and you are free to come to your own conclusions.
