One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a 1975 movie starring Jack Nicholson. He plays a character named R.P. Murphy. Murphy is a habitual criminal who is sentenced to prison. The movie is about the power struggle between Murphy and Ratched. He wants to change the way the ward is run. She wants to keep the ward firmly under her control. Finally, Murphy will have to face the consequences of all the choices he has made.
