Watch Orlando

Orlando is a movie starring Tilda Swinton and Billy Zane. Tilda Swinton plays the lead character of Orlando who when the movie opens is a young man who makes a promise to Queen Elizabeth not to grow old or die. Surprisingly, he doesn't and his life span centuries, and he lives both as a man and woman. Billy Zane plays Orlando's love interest when he becomes a woman. Tilda Swinton unique look is an asset in the movie as she plays both a man and a woman.

The movie is full of beautiful lush and romantic scenes, and Tilda Swinton's character, in between saying dialogue, speaks directly toward the camera. When the film opens Orlando is a man who is bequeath lands and money, but when he becomes a woman, Orlando loses it all. Orlando is based on a book by Virginia Woolf.
