The tornado sets Oscar down in the magical land of Oz. Oscar marvels at this place, before being introduced to three witches: Theodora, Evanora, and Glinda. The three witches, though somewhat skeptical, believe that he fulfills a prophecy to one day set Oz free from the control of the Wicked witch. The inhabitants of the Emerald City are quite pleased to see Oscar as they also think that Oscar is the man who will one day set Oz free. Oscar is completely excited to not only be popular in his dirty terrible life, but to see all of the money and fine jewelry that he will be getting as the new ruler. But, there is a catch to this: The sisters, who despite seeing him are still not convinced that he is the one that the prophecy speaks of. Oscar learns that Oz is facing a threat of pure evil and vows to help in order to get the wealth.
With the help of some allies, Oscar begins the task of finding out who the evil people in Oz are before the wicked witch gains control. Throughout the course of his journeys, Oscar begins to grown as a man; he learns about compassion, friendship, and how to be a real man. Upon his victorious return, Oscar is given the kingdom
