The sequel to the 2002 hit, 'Resident Evil', 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' is an action-packed, horror movie that will leave you breathless. Directed again by Paul W.S. Anderson, the movie stars Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory and Eric Mabius portraying their previous characters. In the movie, the zombie virus which was spread from the underground facility run by the Umbrella Corporation has now spread to the above ground, wreaking havoc on the city of Raccoon City.

The movie begins with the aftermath of the events that took place in the previous movie. Alice, played by Jovovich, was the only one to escape the underground facility and has now found herself in the heart of the city, where she meets up with a group of survivors. The survivors include Jill Valentine, played by Guillory, a police officer; Carlos Olivera, played by Oded Fehr, a soldier; and L.J. Wade, played by Mike Epps, a convict. They are all trying to survive the zombie apocalypse that has overrun the city.

As they try to find a way out of the city, they come up against the Umbrella Corporation's latest creation, the Nemesis. Nemesis is a genetically engineered super-soldier created by the corporation to hunt down and eliminate all survivors of the zombie apocalypse. It was created by using the DNA of Alice's former lover and co-worker Matt, who was killed in the previous movie.

The group has to deal with not only the zombies but also the Nemesis, who is hot on their tail. They soon discover that the Umbrella Corporation has locked down the city, trapping them inside, and it's up to them to find a way out.

As they try to make their escape, they come across Dr. Ashford, played by Jared Harris, who is the creator of the T-virus that created the zombies. Dr. Ashford's daughter, Angie, is trapped in the city, and he enlists the help of the group to save her. In exchange, he promises to help them escape the city.

The group has to fight their way through hordes of zombies and the Nemesis to find Angie and escape the city before it's too late. Along the way, they discover that the Umbrella Corporation has an even more sinister plan in store for the survivors.

'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' is a worthy sequel to its predecessor, capturing the same action-packed horror and suspense that we loved in the first movie. The movie also introduced new characters and a new storyline that keeps the movie fresh and exciting.

The performances by the cast were excellent, with Jovovich once again proving her worth as the action star. Guillory also gave a solid performance as Jill Valentine, while Mabius returned for a brief cameo as Matt. The special effects were top-notch, with the zombies and the Nemesis being especially impressive.

In conclusion, 'Resident Evil: Apocalypse' is a must-watch for fans of the first movie and for those who love the action-horror genre. With its thrilling action scenes and suspenseful storyline, the movie is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. So grab your popcorn, turn off the lights, and prepare to be terrified.
