Return to the 36th Chamber

In a mill that specializes in dying fabrics, the quality of the work begins to slip below production standard. This discovery is displeasing to the factory owner, Mr. Wang. With the aid of Wa, the head Boss over the workers, the two men agree that the operation requires more oversight. Looking to whip the operation back into shape, they hire a group of Manchu mercenaries to push the workers harder. In order to offset the cost of hiring the Mercenaries, Wang cuts the worker's wages. The workers then proceed to protest, but the uprising is quickly put down. At a local tea house, the deposed workers are met by con man, Chu Jen-chieh, who agrees to help them with their struggle in his most unorthodox manner.
