Watch Smokey and the Bandit

The film entitled Smokey and the Bandit is a comedy that contains scenes with fights. The characters in the film include Burt Reynolds, Sally Field, Jackie Gleason, Jerry Reed, Pat McCormick, Paul Williams and Mike Henry. Big Enos and his son Little Enos are faced with the challenge of finding a truck driver who will be willing to transport Coors beer for them as they will need it for their party.

Big Enos is a hustler who is very hard working and determined such that he does not let circumstances stop him from doing what he wants to do. At the time, Coors beer is not easily available in some states because its conditions for transportation are very delicate, requiring that the beer be kept cold throughout the period and the entire journey for transporting it is at least 28 hours.

Many truck drivers are afraid to take the risk of transporting beer for fear of being fined by the authorities. Big and Little Enos succeed in finding a truck driver named Bandit who accepts to do the transportation for them in 28 hours. Bandit asked his colleague Cledus to drive the truck all the way. Cledus accepts and comes along with his dog Fred and also hires a car in which they load the beer. On the way, Bandit picks up Carrie, a bride on the run who does not want to marry the man chosen for her and this incriminates him. Bandit names her Frog.

Buford, who is the father of the groom Carrie is running away from, is out searching for her and this raises a point of concern about Bandit to every officer they come across as they travel through different cities. Buford and his son pursue Bandit and Carrie all the way while Cledus drives unnoticed by officers who are only concerned about finding Bandit. Through assistance they get from truck drivers, the team arrive their destination with the beer and 10 minutes earlier than the set time.
