Snoopy, Come Home

"Snoopy travels to see his sick former owner and then feels obliged to return to her permanently."

Made in 1972, Snoopy, Come Home is an animated film. Based on the popular comic strip, Peanuts, it features a group of children and a beagle by the name of Snoopy. Snoopy is the pet dog of one of the kids named Charlie Brown. The film is also introduces Snoopy's friend; a little yellow bird by the name of Woodstock. The movie begins with Snoopy spending time at the beach with the Peanuts gang. Snoopy promises one of the girls in the gang, Peppermint Patty, to meet her at the beach the following day. Unfortunately, when Snoopy returns to the beach, he gets turned away because of a new "No Dogs Allowed" policy. After that rejection, he gets thrown out of the library because of the same policy.

To top off the already bad day, Snoopy received a letter from his previous owner, a little girl by the name of Lila. Lila is very ill and in the hospital, and he decides to go and see her. After a very eventful trip, and seeing Lila in the hospital, he is faced with a heart wrenching dilemma; stay with Charlie Brown or stay with Lila.
