Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

"The key to saving the future can only be found in the past."

After a fierce encounter with the Klingon Empire, the crew of the Starship Enterprise is left with no way to travel back to Earth and rejoin Star Fleet. The only ship at their disposal is an experimental-class Klingon Bird of Prey. In order to save the Earth from destruction, the crew including Admiral Kirk (William Shatner), Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy), Dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelley), Scotty (James Doohan) and the others, must find a way to travel back through time to the 1980's. The oceans of the past contain the key to future humanity's survival.

The Voyage Home is directed by Leonard Nimoy. It is the most successful Star Trek original-crew franchise film installment. It was made during the onset of the modern environmental-technological movement, and its themes and special effects have entertained audiences and Trekkers for nearly 30 years. In contrast to other Star Trek features, humor and dialogue are paramount in The Voyage Home rather than classic battle sequences and alien interaction.
