Stonewall is a comedy/drama movie that tells the very controversial story of the birth of the gay rights movement in America. Focusing heavily on the cross-dressing and gay community, Stonewall portrays the unbelievable ridicule and constant shame that me members of the gay community face on a daily basis. The movie conveys a fictional love story leading up to the infamous Stonewall Riots, which took place in the gay-friendly neighborhood known as Greenwich Village, in New York City. Follow Matty Dean as his journey to New York City begins when he gets off the bus in Greenwich Village, and falls in love with a cross dressing hairdresser named, La Miranda.
