In the quiet town of Clarksville, Kentucky, the local community is shaken by a series of murders that occurred more than a decade ago. The killer, known as ‘The Clovehitch Killer,’ has never been identified, creating fear and paranoia among the town residents. Tyler Burnside (Charlie Plummer) is a teenage boy living in Clarksville with his strict, church-going parents. His father, Don Burnside (Dylan McDermott), is a well-respected member of the community and a devout Christian who leads the local Scout troop. Tyler begins to suspect that his father may be the Clovehitch Killer when he discovers some disturbing evidence in the family’s garage.

Tyler’s doubts arise when he finds a collection of bondage photographs hidden inside a locked drawer.
