The Family, released in 2013, is an action-comedy film that stars Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Dianna Agron. Directed by Luc Besson and based on the novel Malavita by Tonino Benacquista, this film follows the Manzoni family who have to enter a witness protection program when they are relocated to France to live under new identities.

The film kicks off with a thrilling scene where Giovanni Manzoni (played by Robert De Niro) testifies against his former mafia boss and becomes a target of his former associates. The Manzoni family is sent to France under the custody of Agent Stansfield (played by Tommy Lee Jones) to live under a new identity. Giovanni becomes Fred Blake, his wife, Maggie, is now known as Belle, their teenage daughter, Belle, is now known as Warren, and their son, Warren, is now known as Jon Blake.

At first glance, the Blake family seems like any other American family in a small French town. However, as the film progresses, it becomes apparent that the family has a hard time letting go of their old ways. They struggle to fit in and navigate their new cultural surroundings while also dealing with the consequences of their criminal past.

The family's violent tendencies get showcased when Belle gets sexually harassed by her schoolmates. Her father, Fred, decides to take matters into his own hands and threatens the harassers with a baseball bat. This leads to an explosive and chaotic classroom brawl.

Meanwhile, Maggie struggles to adjust to her new surroundings and misses her old life. To cope, she uses a local supermarket as a way to distract herself from her past. However, she ends up blowing up the supermarket after retaliating against shop assistants who insulted her.

As the film progresses, the family's past comes back to haunt them, and they kick up their criminal ways once more. Fred starts to take control of the town, along with his friend Tommy (played by Dominick Lombardozzi), who helps him with his mafia business while his son, Jon, helps him with technical matters.

The FBI agent in charge of the family begins to lose his patience as he receives reports of the family's criminal activities. Meanwhile, the mafia boss that the family testified against sends his men to France to track them down.

The final act of the film is an action-packed sequence where the Manzoni/Blake family fights against the mafia. They use their unique skill set to defeat the mafia and protect their family. The climax of the film is satisfying, with the audience rooting for the family as they fend off the villains.

Overall, The Family is a fun film that explores the theme of family values and the struggle of relocation when one is forced to change their identity. The film is a perfect blend of action, comedy, and drama, with fantastic performances by the main cast. The script is well-written, and the direction by Luc Besson is top-notch. If you're looking for a good action-comedy film with a unique twist, The Family is definitely worth checking out.
