An angry 17-year-old Palestinian youth who is the son of a founding member of Hamas, wants to fight against Israel. When he is arrested for trying to smuggle guns, he is interrogated by Israeli security and imprisoned. He later agrees to spy for Israel after becoming disillusioned with Hamas due to its tactics both inside and outside of the prison. The man worked as an undercover informant for the Israeli internal security service from 1997 to 2007. He was code named The Green Prince.

In a universe of lies and deception, the spy and his counterpart developed a trusted partnership that prevented many suicide attacks and murders. Hamas cells were exposed and many Hamas militants were pursued and located, including the Green Prince's father. He relates that his father is now imprisoned for his own protection.

An incredibly complex cosmos of fear, terror and betrayal are laid out. The film contains archival footage, dramatized sequences and first person accounts of 10 years of a double life.
