The Hard Way

"There's only one way these two are going to get along..."

The Hard Way is a comedy crime action film that was released in 1991. The film involves an action movie star who is assigned a new role. In order to research for the film he is assigned to be the partner of a real New York City cop. The cop is very much a kind of tough guy, and he very quickly learns to hate his new partner. This leads to the action movie star having to confront his fact demeanor of being a tough guy, and he yearns to gain the respect of the cop. This eventually happens when he is able to show bravery during an extreme situation.

The Hard Way was based off of a story by Lem Dobbs and Michael Kozoll. Lem Dobbs adapted the story for the screen with the help of Daniel Pyne. The film was directed by John Badham. Michael J. Fox plays the sissy movie star by the name of Nick Lang. The cop is played by James Woods.
