The Last Boy Scout

The movie The Last Boy Scout is an action comedy about a burnt-out private detective named Joe Hallenbeck (played by Bruce Willis). He is struggling to keep his private detective practice a float, mainly because he has a drinking problem and a few other family issues. Hallenbeck meets Jimmy Dix (played by Damon Wayans), an ex-football player, when Dix's girlfriend hires Hallenbeck help her to discover who is threatening to kill her. The two of them become involved in a mystery, in which they have to save the life of a Senator who has fired Hallenbeck in the past. Hallenbeck hates the Senator because he caught the Senator in behavior that would be considered illegal and others would wind up in jail for such conduct.

Some other notable actors that played roles in this movie are Academy award winner Halle Berry, Golden Globe award winning actor James Gandolfini, Sons of Anarchy star Kim Coates, comedian Taylor Negron, and award winning actor Noble Willingham.
