Watch The Men Who Stare at Goats

This quirky war comedy, based on the novel by Jon Ronson and directed by Grant Heslov, follows reporter Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor) to Kuwait, where he encounters Lyn Cassady (George Clooney). Cassady claims to be a remnant of a U.S. Army unit trained as psychic warriors called the New Earth Army. This unit was originally led by Officer Bill Django (Jeff Bridges), who also trained another promising student, Larry Hooper (Kevin Spacey). However, where Cassady adopted a loving and peaceful outlook on the mission of the New Earth Army, Hooper saw a more destructive potential, and so began the dissolution of the original project. Bob Wilton decides to see this story through to the end and train as a psychic warrior himself to see what it's all about.

"The Men Who Stare At Goats" was nominated by the Empire Awards for Best Comedy, and George Clooney received much praise for his performance.
