The 90s heroine will be back. So will Arnold and James Cameron.
A few days ago, we learned that Maria Shriver had hired L.A. celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser to handle her sure-to-be-divorce from philandering husband/former Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Now, according to Radar Online, Shriver has also hired a private detective to uncover potential additional love children in Arnie's past. Better watch your back, Arnie. You've just screwed over a Kennedy.
Call it symbolic or call it annoying. Either way, Arnold Schwarzenegger is apparently going to make another bid for your attention and your dollars with a new western called "The Last Stand," after being publicly disgraced for admitting that he had fathered a love child during his term as California's Governor, while married to Maria Shriver. According to unnamed reps from Lionsgate, Arnold will star as an aging sheriff who battles a drug cartel on a border town.
Despite having several projects line up, "personal matters" will now prevent Schwarzenegger from committing to any of them. IN a written statement, his office said "Governor Schwarzenegger is focusing on personal matters and is not willing to commit to any production schedules or timelines. This includes 'Cry Macho,' 'The Terminator' franchise and other projects under consideration. We will resume discussions when Governor Schwarzenegger decides."
ABC reported today that the mother of Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child is Mildred "Patty" Baena, who served as housekeeper for the Governator and his wife Maria Shriver for 20 years. Baena's MySpace profile has pictures of her and Arnold's son. You're going to see these photos anyway, so we figured we'd go ahead and be the ones to share. Let the cruel comments begin.
Even before the sordid truth emerged about Arnold's love child, the Governator had been accused of sexual harassment, given sleazy interviews and admitted to "bad behavior" on movie sets. But the crown jewel of creepy comes in this bodybuilding video (courtesy of SportsGrid) from 1977, where Arnie explains how great it feels to do a technique called "The Pump." How no one got ahold of this during the California gubernatorial race is beyond me, but let's just say things get real, real uncomfortable real fast. Watch Arnold talk about why he's in heaven when he pumps in this NSFW vid.
There are secrets, and then, apparently, there are Governator-level secrets. The Los Angeles Times reported this morning the real reason Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver split up, and it's a neutron bombshell. Arnold has admitted that he had a love child with an as-of-yet-unnamed "member of his household staff" 10 years ago.
Has the John & Sarah Connor Era ended? Maybe . . . maybe not. Justin Lin, director of "Fast Five" and soon a fifth "Terminator" installment, won't say one way or another whether original franchise principals like Linda Hamilton, Michael Biehn or really, anybody not named "Arnold Schwarzenegger" will reprise their original roles, said an MTV report.
In the continuining development of "political career least believable to future civilizations," Arnold Schwarzenegger will star in the upcoming animated series "The Governator." Oh yeah. It's happening. Entertainment Weekly has the details and several constume designs. "When I ran for governor back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about 'the Governator,' I thought the word was so cool," Schwarzenegger said, "The word 'Governator' combined two worlds: the world of politics and the movie world.
Following the release of "Terminator Salvation," which was not considered a box office success in spite of its $371 million worldwide take, the franchise went bankrupt and hasn't been heard from since. "Salvation" director McG was expected to continue the new trilogy that was set in the days of the war between humans and the machines of Skynet, but the bankruptcy halted all development.
The Terminator is currently available to watch and stream, download, buy on demand at Amazon Prime, Netflix, Tribeca Shortlist, Amazon, Vudu, Google Play, FandangoNow, iTunes, YouTube VOD online.
