They Made Me a Fugitive

"The Made Me a Fugitive," released in 1947, is a British film that tells the story of an ex-RAF named Clems who is inexorably drawn into the world of crime in the postwar city. As the name would imply, Clems becomes a fugitive when his crime boss, the psychopath Narcy, frames him for a police officer's murder, leaving an embittered Clems to escape from prison and to seek vengeance for his betrayal.
