This 2011 drama unfolds when a family and their 10-year old daughter move away to a different neighborhood. As the daughter begins to meet new friends, she tells everyone that she is a boy named Mickael. As the tomboy gains popularity amongst his new friends, soon a young girl begins to have feelings for him. However, once the mother, now with child, finds out what her daughter is doing, she has very troubled feelings.

This movie follows the experience of a young child struggling with gender identity, discovering potential relationships, and the journey of finding out who she is.
