Watch Tron

Tron is a science fiction movie involving computers. Jeff Bridges plays the lead character of Kevin Flynn. Flynn is a computer engineer who creates video games. The company he used to work for also employed another person who stole several of the games he created in an attempt to gain recognition and be promoted over Flynn. Flynn decides to go back to the company that fired him and access the main computer to get evidence of the stolen games. The computer located where Flynn used to work has created connections with several government computer systems.

A program referred to as MCP is an artificial intelligence which has its own independent agendas. The program has plans to break into the systems of some of the major governments around the world. When Flynn tries to stop MCP, the program shoots him with a high-powered laser beam which instantly causes Flynn to disappear from the building and be relocated inside the computer's mainframe. Flynn has become part of the computer's program and must find a way to shut it down and get himself back out again.

While inside the computer's mainframe, Flynn meets other human-like characters who refer to themselves as programs. These characters are closely monitored by the system who has the ability to track them and manipulate the environment in which they exist. In order to travel across the computer grid, the programs use light cycles which resemble motorcycles. Traveling across the grid on the light cycles creates fast-paced action. Flynn discovers that as a human, he has the ability to manipulate the digital program which allows him to change his environment in order to hide from the main system. He manages to make a connection with an associate on the outside and gives him instructions on how to destroy the system. Suspense builds as Flynn tries to escape the system before it is destroyed.
