Twelve Mile Road is a heartwarming drama film from 2003 that tells the story of a father and daughter who are trying their best to cope with the aftermath of a family tragedy. As the movie progresses, we see the Landis family deal with their grief and the challenges that come with living in a small town. The movie has several emotional moments that are sure to tug at your heartstrings.

The performances in the movie are exceptional. Tom Selleck delivers a nuanced and understated performance as the grieving father, while Maggie Grace is excellent as the rebellious and complex teenager. Wendy Crewson is also great in her role as Marcia, who is torn between her loyalty to her brother-in-law and her concerns about Dulcie's well-being.
