See Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin in 'Game Change' Teaser Trailer

If you have watched "Saturday Night Live" at all since 2008, you know that Tina Fey does a pretty gosh-darned good impression of Sarah Palin, you betcha. But how do the skills of Julianne Moore, who will be playing the former vice presidential candidate, measure up?

As it turns out, Moore's not too bad either. In fact, she's more or less spot-on. The first trailer for HBO's original movie "Game Change" has hit, and in it you can get your first look at Moore in action as Palin.

The telefilm will follow the story of the presidential campaign of John McCain back in 2008, starting with the decision to select Palin as his running mate. The movie is based on the book of the same title, which goes behind the scenes of the campaign and reveals what (supposedly) really happened.

Moore is joined in the movie by Ed Harris, who plays McCain, and Woody Harrelson, who plays McCain's campaign strategist. Jay Roach and Danny Strong, who brought the TV movie "Recount" to HBO following the 2000 election, are behind this one as well.

The trailer reveals a bit about the tone of the film as well, which was unclear earlier: the people behind the movie have a big background in comedy, yet the movie is being described as a drama. It seems that the movie is indeed more dramatic than comedic, although the music and the reaction from Harrelson at Palin's announcement almost has a bit of a horror tone to it. Tongue in cheek, much?
