Watch the Full Trailer for the 'Avatar'-esque 'John Carter' with Taylor Kitsch

Jonesing for another "Avatar?" Disney has you covered: the full trailer for "John Carter" has hit, and it looks pretty "Avatar"- esque, albeit with a very different color palette.

The movie is based on the series of books by Edgar Rice Burroughs, who also wrote the Tarzan novels. The story follows John Carter, a Confederate soldier who is transported to Mars, where he finds himself in the middle of another war, this time between a bunch of aliens.

So basically, we have yet another "Last of the Mohicans" or "The Last Samurai" or "Avatar," in which an indigenous people is saved by a white dude. But, since it's Burroughs, we'll forgive that.

Plus, the whole low-gravity thing means that star Taylor Kitsch (of "Friday Night Lights" fame) will be doing some high-flying stunts that'll probably be pretty fun to watch. Plus: blue alien blood! Explosions! Mark Strong once again playing a bad guy!

The movie is set for a March 2012 release, and also stars Thomas Hayden Church, Willem Dafoe, and "Breaking Bad" star Bryan Cranston.
