Ep 2. Episode 2

Poirot is back on the case in episode 2 of Agatha Christie's The ABC Murders. As the hunt for the killer continues, Poirot becomes increasingly frustrated by the lack of progress in the investigation. He enlists the help of his friend and former colleague, Inspector Japp, but their efforts are hampered by the fact that the killer appears to be one step ahead of them at every turn.

Tensions rise between Poirot and the police when he accuses one of their own of being the murderer. The investigation takes a surprising turn when another victim is discovered, and Poirot is forced to reexamine his theories about the killer's motives.

Meanwhile, the killer continues to taunt Poirot with cryptic messages, adding further fuel to the detective's determination to catch him. Poirot's unconventional methods and attention to detail are put to the test as he races to unravel the mystery and catch the killer before he strikes again.

The episode is full of twists and turns, with plenty of red herrings thrown in to keep viewers guessing. The tension and suspense are ramped up as the killer's true identity begins to emerge, and Poirot's own safety is put in jeopardy.

As always, the production design and performances are top-notch, with John Malkovich giving a particularly nuanced and layered portrayal of Poirot. The episode is a worthy addition to the Agatha Christie canon, and fans of the genre will not be disappointed.
