In this animated sitcom, a CIA agent tries to live a normal suburban life with his wife and two kids. The family is wacky and far from normal, and like many an animated sitcom family, they also have to deal with a strangely intelligent talking pet and a wacky space alien.

American Dad! Full Episode Guide

  • Hayley drives Steve to a testing center in “no good” downtown but they end up stranded in a worse suburban neighborhood. Stan, Francine, and Roger mistakenly go downtown to rescue them.

  • Steve babysits Roger's ex-tumor, Rogu, to prove to Francine that he's ready for the responsibility. Stan and Francine get into trouble in their respective clubs.

  • Roger helps Francine with her terrible cooking by bringing her to a remote Patagonian island. Stan gets a nail in his head and can't speak.

  • Klaus leaves the family after one too many harassments. 15 years later, they reconnect for his funeral.

  • Roger helps Stan enter Francine's dreams after he becomes insecure about their contents.

  • Roger tries to force Hayley into graduating from community college so he can move into her room. Klaus repairs Francine's car.

  • Stan, reluctantly invites Roger into his ham club. Francine decides to scare Greg.

  • While trying to rekindle their marriage, Stan and Francine get trapped on a hot air balloon. The rest of the family wins a jingle writing contest.

  • Hayley feels left behind after Jeff becomes a star dog racing coach. Steve takes advantage of an empty house.

  • Stan deals with childhood issues of abandonment. Klaus starts a website to embarrass the Smith family about their fails.

  • Hayley gets a job as a delivery driver and begins delivering lunch to Stan's office; when she sees the terrible work conditions, she organizes a strike; the family watches Breaking Bad in reverse and discovers the show is hiding a scavenger hunt.

  • Stan discovers that the Langley Falls historical mural has been ruined by graffiti and neglect and convinces the town to allow him to restore the mural himself; Roger becomes Steve's instructor at a prestigious clowning university.

  • When Klaus's goldfish body begins to deteriorate Stan transfers his consciousness temporarily into the body of a hermit crab. Hayley and Roger compete to see who can get the most views on their internet vlogging channels.

  • Francine is happy watching vapid morning talk shows and ignoring real world news. When she decides to surprise Stan at work she accidentally discovers that Stan has been running her favorite show in an attempt to shelter her from the real world.
