American Hot Rod

Delve into the world of hot rods by watching a show that was on Discovery Channel from 2004-2007. It was also broadcast on The Learning Channel. This was a documentary of Boyd Coddington's car shop. While at the car shop, Boyd and his family and friends struggled at times to build hot rods for customers as well as other customized vehicles. The show was filmed in California.

After broadcasting stopped, most of the people who worked at the shop went to work for a different television show that had the same type of work. Several cars were built during the show's time on television including those for famous people throughout the country. One of the most popular cars that was built was an Elvis Tribute Car. It was a 1957 pink Cadillac that was modified. The owner of the shop passed away in 2008, leading to the dispersal of the show.
