In this competition series, individual athletes, both male and female, fight their way through ridiculously difficult obstacle courses. In most cases, its difficult for them to even successfully make it through the courses, let alone do it faster than their competitors. The best and fastest athlete, though, will ultimately be crowned the champion Ninja Warrior.

American Ninja Warrior Full Episode Guide

  • For the first time in four years a winner will be crowned on the finale of "American Ninja Warrior." A select group of competitors move forward in the competition to face stage three which features seven daunting obstacles; three new to the course this year - "Battering Ram," "Curved Iron Maiden" and "Dynamic Pole Grasp." The elite few who conquer stage three move on to stage four, a final climb up Mt. Midoriyama, which they must complete in thirty seconds or less. Finalists vie for a $1 million prize and the title of "American Ninja Warrior." Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila host and Zuri Hall reports from the sidelines.

  • The remaining 28 competitors take on stage 2 at the national finals where 6 obstacles await, including the new “Giant Walk the Plank,” “Snap Back,” and “Grim Sweeper.”

  • National Finals continue with night two from Las Vegas, where this season's top competitors tackle the world's toughest obstacle course. Stage one features eight obstacles, including "Roulette Row" and "Diving Boards" which are brand new to the course, that must be completed in under 2:30 minutes to advance to stage two. Finalists vie for a $1 million prize and the title of "American Ninja Warrior."

  • "American Ninja Warrior" returns to Las Vegas for night one of the National Finals - a four-week TV event where the season's top competitors attempt to conquer all four stages of the world's toughest obstacle course. Stage one will feature eight grueling obstacles, including "Roulette Row" and "Diving Boards" which are new to the course, and must be completed in less than 2:30 in order to advance to stage two. Finalists vie for a $1 million prize and the title of "American Ninja Warrior."

  • "American Ninja Warrior" returns to Cincinnati for the City Finals round of the competition. Competitors will face up to ten challenging obstacles including Slam Dunk, which is new to the course this year.

  • "American Ninja Warrior" returns to Baltimore for the City Finals round of the competition. Competitors will face up to ten challenging obstacles including Angry Birds, which is new to the course this year.

  • "American Ninja Warrior" heads back to the Pacific North West for the City Finals round of the competition at the Tacoma Dome. Competitors will face up to ten challenging obstacles including Northwest Passage, which is new to the course this year.

  • "American Ninja Warrior" returns to Oklahoma City for the City Finals round of the competition. Competitors will face up to ten challenging obstacles including Snap Back, which is new to the course this year. Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila host and Zuri Hall reports from the sidelines.

  • "American Ninja Warrior" returns to Atlanta for the City Finals round of the competition. Competitors will face up to ten challenging obstacles including Up For Grabs, which is new to the course this year.

  • The Los Angeles City Finals features up to 10 obstacles, including the Leaps of Faith. The two fastest finishers take on the Power Tower for a chance to win a safety pass.

  • American Ninja Warrior" heads to Cincinnati for the final City Qualifying Round. Competitors will face up to six challenging obstacles including Sling Shot which is new to the course this year.

  • American Ninja Warrior heads to Baltimore for the City Qualifying Round. Competitors will face up to six challenging obstacles including Dangerous Curves and Hazard Cones, which are new to the course this year. Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila host and Zuri Hall joins the show as sideline reporter.

  • "American Ninja Warrior" brings the competition indoors for the first time ever in Seattle's Tacoma Dome for the City Qualifying Round. Competitors will face up to six challenging obstacles including Lunatic Ledges and Barrel Roll, which are new to the course this year.

  • American Ninja Warrior heads to Oklahoma City for the City Qualifying Round. Competitors will face up to six challenging obstacles including Diving Boards and Coconut Climb, which are new to the course this year.

  • The season begins with the Los Angeles Qualifying Round. Ninjas take on 6 challenging obstacles, including 2 new ones: “Walk the Plank” and “Spring Forward.” In a new twist to the city qualifying rounds, the 2 fastest finishers take on the new Power Tower for a chance to advance straight to the National Finals in Las Vegas.

  • Drew Drechsel, Jesse Labreck, Mathis "The Kid" Owhadi, Najee Richardson and Barclay Stockett represent Team USA against top athletes from Europe and Australia in a battle for worldwide ninja domination.

  • It's the last night of the "American Ninja Warrior" National Finals, where the season's best Ninjas tackle the toughest obstacle course in the world. Competitors who conquered stage one move on to stage two, in hopes of advancing to stages three and four.

  • The season's top competitors must tackle eight obstacles in order to advance to stage two.

  • Ninja veterans take on the world's toughest obstacle course for a chance to win $1 million. The ninja who goes the furthest on the course walks away with the new “last ninja standing” prize of $100,000.

  • The Minneapolis city finals round features 10 obstacles, including "The Hinge." Ninja veterans taking to the course include Meagan Martin, Joe Moravsky, Jake Murray and Lance Pekus.

  • The top 30 competitors from the qualifying round face the new obstacle called Captain's Wheel.

  • "American Ninja Warrior" returns to Indianapolis' "Monument Circle" for the fourth round of the City Finals. The top 30 Ninjas from the Qualifying round will face an even tougher obstacle course which includes the brand-new "Cane Lane" and the grueling 10th obstacle "Spider Trap." Competitors taking on the course include: Brian Arnold, Jimmy Choi, Jesse "Flex"Labreck and season 7 champion Isaac Caldiero. Competitors vie for a chance to win a cash prize of $1,000,000.

  • The top 30 competitors from this city’s Qualifying round face an extended, 10-obstacle course, including the brand new “Crazy Clocks.” Ninjas include: Jessie Graff, Drew Drechsel, Morgan “Moose” Wright, Rachael Goldstein, and Jessica Clayton.

  • In the Dallas City Finals, the top 30 qualifying ninjas face an even tougher obstacle course that includes the "Fallout" and "Spider Trap" obstacles. Ninjas include Daniel Gil, Barclay Stockett, Mathis "The Kid" Owhadi, Brent Steffensen and Abel Gonzalez.

  • The Los Angeles City Finals feature the top 30 competitors from the qualifying round. Obstacles include "Baton Pass" and "Spider Trap."

  • A qualifying round in Minneapolis. Competitors take on six obstacles, including "Double Twister" and "Diamond Dash." Nina veterans making their return include: Meagan Martin, Joe Moravsky, Lance Pekus, Maggi Thorne and Sarah Schoback.

  • In the qualifying round from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, ninjas tackle 6 obstacles.

  • In the qualifying round from Indianapolis, Indiana, ninjas tackle 6 obstacles, including the brand-new “Wheel Flip” and “Spin Hopper.”

  • American Ninja Warrior welcomes special guests at the Los Angeles qualifier when dinosaurs from "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" invade the course, along with a special appearance by the film's stars, Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. In the Los Angeles qualifying round, competitors will tackle six obstacles, including two brand new obstacles "Jumper Cables" and "Doorknob Drop."

  • Akbar Gbajabiamila takes on the Ninja Warrior course for the first time along with Derek Hough, NE-YO, Nikki Bella, Colton Dunn, Scott Evans, Gregg Sulkin and Olympic gold medalist Nastia Liukin in support of Red Nose Day.
