Ep 18. We Are Family

We Are Family is the 18th episode of season 3 of American Pickers: Best of, a reality show that follows Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz as they travel across the United States in search of valuable antiques and collectibles.

In this episode, Mike and Frank head to Iowa to visit a massive collection of rare antique farm equipment, including a hand-cranked corn sheller and a John Deere oil rig. Later, Mike and Frank head to Nebraska to meet a fellow picker named Dez. Dez is a third-generation antique dealer who has inherited a vast collection of vintage toys, including wind-up robots and a rare Mickey Mouse phone. Mike and Frank are impressed by Dez's knowledge and passion for collectibles, and they strike a deal to purchase some of his rare toys.

Finally, Mike and Frank visit a charming family farm in Kansas to pick through a treasure trove of antiques and collectibles. The farm is owned by the charming and quirky Yoder family, who have been collecting unique treasures for generations. Mike and Frank uncover a stunning hand-carved grandfather clock and a rare Star Wars poster, among other cherished items.

Throughout the episode, Mike and Frank reflect on the importance of family and the connections that form between collectors and their prized possessions.
