In this episode of Cleveland Hustles, the show's four investors, including basketball superstar LeBron James, continue their quest to revitalize small businesses in Cleveland with their unique blend of business savvy, branding acumen, and community spirit. In this installment, the team focuses on two very different businesses - a soda bar and a pickle jar company - and works with the owners to help them take their ventures to the next level.

First up is Misty from SodaPop, a downtown soda bar that's struggling to attract customers despite its prime location and cool vintage vibe. The investors quickly identify the problem: Misty's drinks are too complicated and confusing, and her branding doesn't clearly communicate what she's all about. Over the course of the episode, they work with her to simplify her menu, rebrand her shop, and create a more welcoming atmosphere. They also bring in a local printing company to create custom t-shirts and merchandise featuring SodaPop's new look. Will these changes be enough to turn things around for this struggling business?

The second business on the docket is Randy's Pickles, a small-batch pickle company that's been operating out of Randy's basement. Randy has a passion for making all kinds of pickled vegetables, but he's never had a real storefront or marketing strategy. The investors see an opportunity to take Randy's pickles to the next level and help him go from homegrown hobbyist to successful entrepreneur. They work with him to develop a new brand identity, create eye-catching packaging, and build a website that will allow him to sell his pickles online. Along the way, they also help him secure a commercial kitchen space where he can make his pickles in larger batches. Will these changes help Randy's Pickles break out of the crowded artisanal food market and establish itself as a standout brand worthy of national attention?

As always, in addition to helping these two businesses, the investors also engage with the Cleveland community, attending local events and getting to know some of the city's most passionate entrepreneurs. They also sit down with one of Cleveland's most successful small business owners, celebrity chef Michael Symon, to hear his thoughts on what makes a good brand and how to stand out in a crowded marketplace. By the end of the episode, the investors hope to have made a real difference in the lives of the small business owners they've worked with, while also helping to reinvigorate the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship that has long defined Cleveland.
